Adoption and Rescue

Help Needed
We currently are in need of additional individuals to "half way house" animals coming into the adoption system especially, but not exclusively, green iguanas (we are turning animals away because we do not have space for them). Before any animals are placed in a halfway house, the committee performs a screening (the final decision is made by the Adoption Committee Chairperson based on this screening). Call or e-mail for further information.

Acknowledgements
PNHS wants to acknowledge and thank our halfway housers for volunteering their time and resources for the sake of the animals.

Other Donations
The Adoption Committee receives minimal financial support from the Society, so donations of money, food, cages, and equipment are always needed and appreciated. Please contact the Committee Chairperson to make a donation.

Animal Donations
If you have an animal that you wish to place with the PNHS rescue program you have various options:

Please contact the Adoption Committee Chairperson, (206) 583-0686, to arrange for pickup and appropriate halfway housing of your animal(s).

Please fill out a Rescue Request online. This will forward your information to our Adoption Committee. You will then be contacted regarding handing off your animal to PNHS.

We do ask that under no circumstance do you bring your animal to a meeting without prior consent from an Adoption Committee member.
